Stephan and Tanja got to know each other at their home church in Germany, where they served together in the youth ministry. Stephan realized how God had combined his love for Jesus and his passion for planes into a vision to serve Him with flying. To save up for his flight training he worked as a mechanic for a German airline and later as an avionics technician and flight instructor in Canada. Tanja chose a degree in the medical field and earned a bachelor in occupational therapy. They were amazed how God had put them together and were married with the clear calling to serve in mission aviation. After nine years of preparation and a few children later, the Schulzes set foot on the mission field in Palau. They have seen God's guidance as He directed their attention to PMA Palau. Having prepared for this position together with a heart to serve wherever God would call, they followed God’s direction in 2014. Together with their children, Hannah, Iren, Hadassa and Baby Joshua, they also serve at the PMF church in Palau. Stephan and Tanja lead a small group and Tanja is involved in children's ministry. Their heart's desire is to invest in the lives of people and to disciple others.
